Long time ago, big sky rock hit earth. Made huge hole. Sky got angry AFTER, bringing great fire and bad times.
Long, long ago, when big-lizards walked, a giant shiny-rock fell from sky. It was huge, like many, many mammoths piled up. It hit flat-land near big-water, making a deep, wide hole, big enough for many tribes. But the really bad thing, tribe, was not just the loud *BOOM*! The sky itself got angry *after* the rock hit, turning into a terrible weapon of fire and smoke.
This angry sky, it means big trouble for our hunt. If sky turns black with smoke and spits fire, where do mammoth go? Where do berries grow? Our wise ones say if sky gets so angry again, sun hides, and cold comes, making food hard to find. We must watch sky, learn its moods, and prepare for any bad spirit it sends.
### Local Commentary
Zog (local berry picker): 'Me remember old stories, grand-elder talk of sky-fire. Scary! If sky makes fire-rain, berries burn, then Zog no pick!'
Thag (mammoth hunter): 'Thag saw big-lizard bones in mud, some burned. If sky sends fire, mammoths run far, far away. Harder hunt for Thag and spear-brothers!'
Oog (wise elder): 'This news from Caveman Talk Fire is heavy. We must tell young ones. Sky magic can be good for crops, but sky-anger can bring hungry-belly. We must store more dry-meat, find safe caves. Oog will gather elders for big talk.'
