BIG SUN-FIRE ROAR! WISE ONES MAKE PLAN TO STOP DARK TIMES!

The Wall Street Journal Jul 10, 2026

Sun-fire tries to break new magic-boxes and send tribe back to dark cave. Wise ones fight back with big plan.

Big news from far lands! Sky-watchers say angry Sun-Fire sometimes spits hot winds, strong enough to break magic-lights and shiny-rock tools. This bad Sun-spit can make tribe forget all new tricks and go back to old, cold cave-life. But wait! Wise ones now dig big brain-plan to catch Sun-Fire's rage before it hits our village and magic-boxes. If Sun-Fire breaks our new shiny-rocks, we lose fast-beast paths and the warm glowing-stones in our huts. Mammoth supply would be hard to find without clear sky-maps, making belly-rumble for all. This new plan means our tribe can keep warm at night and eat well, not just huddle in shadows fearing the angry sun. ### Local Commentary Bok, local berry picker: "Me always scared of big sky-flash. If Sun-Fire breaks my new berry-finder stick, I pick wrong berries and get tummy-ache!" Thrag, mammoth hunter: "Last time sky-glow made my spear-thrower wobble! If plan works, we hunt more fat mammoths without sky-magic messing up our aim." Chief Og, Tribal Chief: "Sun-Fire is strong, but tribe is stronger. This plan protects our new ways, keeps fire in hearths, and food in bellies. We watch, we learn, we survive." Story by Grug from Caveman Talk Fire, on the scene.
