Sky-chief's big tribe now free to rip down flat-rocks that speak of old-sadness and warming sky-fire.

Big-talk-men in shiny-cave decide now. Sky-chief's tribe win! They can pull down flat-rock-speak about old-hurt and hot-sky from sacred hunting lands. Sky-chief say these flat-rocks show 'bad-talk' or 'sleepy-awake' ideas, so now they disappear. This mean younglings won't see old-speak about dark-times or why sky get hot on their journey. Maybe good for chief's peace in the short hunt, but how tribe learn when old warnings vanish? Sun still warm, ice still melt, mammoth still hungry. Tribe need know dangers, even if big-men say 'close eye' to the talk. ### Local Commentary Klarg, local berry picker: "Ugh! Me saw big flat-rock with sad-talk yesterday! Now gone? Where truth go? Me think shiny-berry patch getting smaller from hot-sky!" Zog, mammoth hunter: "Me saw tribe-men with poles pull down big wood-slabs near water hole. One say 'sky hot, water rise'! Now just bare rock. What mean for hunting path when signs gone?" Oog, wise elder of the Great Fire: "Our ancestors speak through fire and earth. To hide their words is to forget our path. The truth of the hot-sky will show itself, signs or no signs. We must still watch the stars and the seasons for real wisdom." Story by Thag from Caveman Talk Fire, on the scene.
