BOOM-STICK KILL YOUNG-MAN! CHAOS AT BIG-HUT GATHER!

Bad boom-stick sound at big-hut gather in Far-north-place! Young-man Terrell, only many-moons-ago-born, fall forever-sleep when fire-rock fly through dark-dark-night. Five other tribe-friends feel much pain, hurt by flying rocks. Tribe-guards come fast, but bad-man with boom-stick run like fast-beast into trees. This make tribe-people worried for young-ones. Many-people-hut-dance supposed to be happy-time, not bad-boom-stick-time. Elder Oog say we must guard our own caves and watch for strangers with dark hearts. Mammoth hunt still good, but fear makes food taste like old berries. ### Local Commentary Zog (local berry picker): "My heart sad. Young Terrell was good boy. He help me carry heavy basket. Now he no more. Bad magic makes our land unsafe." Thag (mammoth hunter): "I hear boom-sticks from my sleep. Big noise, like giant beast roar! I see shadows run, but too dark. What kind of man use such a thing on young-ones?" Oog (wise elder of the tribe): "This is a time for caution, not quick anger. We must teach our young to avoid dark places and listen to the old ways.
