**Good Thing (Ugh! Good!):**
* **No need all shiny rock now.** You have small rock? Can still plan go-far. Pay little now. More later. Easy.
* **Price no get bigger.** Price stay like rock. No change. You know how many rock to give. Good.
* **Help save.** Make you put rock aside for big walk. No trade rock for new club. Trade for see new sun.
**Bad Thing (Grrr. Bad!):**
* **Sometimes cost extra rock.** Man want more shiny rock for let you pay slow-slow. Sneaky.
* **You no finish pay, you lose all rock.** All rock gone. No go-far. Big sad. Cave feel empty.
* **Plan stuck like foot in mud.** No can change when go. No can change where go. Stuck.
Think with rock in head. Pay slow-slow good for some. Bad for other. You choose.
New think in tribe! Some cavepeople want go on big walk to see far lands, like Fire Mountain or Great Water. But big walk need big pile of shiny rocks. Many no have big pile all at one time. Now, journey-man say can pay for big walk with small rocks over many moons. Give some shiny rocks now, more when sun come up again and again. When all rocks given, you go on journey.
This new plan is good and bad. Good part: you can plan far walk without giving all rocks now. Price of walk stay same, no go up like sun. Bad part: plan is stiff like old mammoth bone. If you get sick or sabertooth block path and you no can go, you might lose shiny rocks. Plan stuck like foot in mud. Is big choice for caveperson wanting to see world.
Groka, a mammoth skinner: "Me like. Me want see Great Water but no have big pile of shiny rocks. This way, me give small rocks every moon. My cave no get empty all at once. Good think!"
Zog, a rock sharpener: "Hmm. Zog not sure. What if bad hunt mean no more rocks to give? Journey-man keep rocks, Zog get no walk. Sound like trap. Me keep rocks in my cave until ready to go."
Chief Bonga, Keeper of the Big Cave Calendar: "Tribe must be smart. This 'pay-for-walk-later' plan good for some, bad for others. Look at all marks on leaf before you give shiny rocks. Make sure plan strong like big tree, not weak like little twig."
