New magic-map, fast-ride. London man still want drive old black-cab. Must know many, many road first
Big news for River-mud people far, far away! Even with new sky-eye magic and small shiny stone talkers, some still want old way. They want to drive dark wheeled beast, like ancestors did. This dark beast carry many tribes-folk, all around. Not need new magic to point way, they say. Want human to know path!
But big, big trouble for those who want old way. Before they drive dark beast, their head must know many, many paths. Not just few paths, not just ten paths. Thousands of paths! Brain must hold every turn, every straight, every rock. Hard, hard brain-stretch! Many suns of study just to know ways. Old way mean much grunt, much thinking.
Grog, berry picker with mud on face: "Me see dark wheeled beast go zoom! How it know where to go? Me get lost in forest after few steps!"
Lana, wise woman who talks to birds: "Ugh, all paths confuse Lana! One head know so many? Must be big, big magic inside driver's head!"
Chief Bone-Nose, Head of River-Mud Paths: "This old way, it good way. Keep brain strong, not soft like mud. New magic make people lazy. We want strong brain people!"
