It first big white stuff of sleeping season. Ugh! Far-north land, near big dark mountains, like place called Sussex, maybe get very much white stuff. Up to seven finger-lengths deep! Other close lands maybe only two or three finger-lengths deep. Sky-talkers, men who watch cloud spirits, shout "Warning! Big cold storm come!" They say watch sky from sun-up tomorrow morning. Stay close to fire, cave people! Grak, strong mammoth hunter: "Me see grey sky, smell cold in air. Me no like white stuff, make hunting ground slippery. Mammoth run fast on ice!"
